This year we had a lot of rain in the high desert and that brought more wild flowers then last year.
We also had more riders turn out for this years ride. The ride started at the Club House at Dan n Cat’s and it was awesome to see all the bikes lined up in front of the house.
After catching up with old friends and meeting new ones we all headed out to the Rock Inn in Lake Hughes for a cold one & some traditional pix then we rolled out to the Wild Poppies 15 minutes away.
It was cool to ride as we thundered through the canyons and out into the valley where you could see an ocean of wild flowers as we rode to our secret spot.
We made our turn off the highway onto open country side. We rode down into our spot tucked into a valley were we stopped and spent the afternoon taking some cool pix of the rides and of the ladies. We even had Nobel and Bonnies 2010 Camero Bumble Bee which was perfect for shots of the girls.
After taking in the sights we rode back to the club house for a party that went into the night and the following morning. All in all it was an awesome day with great friends.
