One of the great things about riding is the friends that you meet along the way. We have been fortunate to met a lot of friends, many of which we can actually call close friends.

There are times when you need to ride alone, but for the most part we like to ride with a group of friends. The more the better. Something about riding in a pack and the thunder of the bikes just gets us going.

The looks on your friends faces as you ride next to them, knowing that your sharing a moment that people who ride in cages are missing. The looks on those peoples faces driving those cages when you ride next to them with that look of wishing they could be riding with you. And the looks on peoples faces when you pull up to your local hang out or even pulling up at a fuel stop. This is the time to share the ride & experience with other riders who can relate to you. Riding brings friends closer together.

For some reason we have met a lot of people at rally’s, bike events or poker runs. I would like to think it was their wanting to check out my bike, but I am only kidding myself. Patricia seems to attract other riders to her like a moth to a flame. She enjoys meeting other riders and in doing so make new friends.

There are several thoughts on what is a friend and what is a true friend. There is a little article in the “Riders Library” that discusses that subject. We would like to believe that you can never have too many friends no matter if they are just friends or close ones. You just know who those people are.

Many of our “close friends” and “just friends” who we have met on bike rides, at bike events or rally’s are here in this area.

We have also met several riders on line and although they may live in other states or countries we have become friends with them as well.
